Life & Work with Teele Schneider of Saint Paul – VoyageMinnesota Feature

voyageminnesota pt 2

VoyageMinnesota, a part of the LA-based Voyage Group of Magazines reached out to do a feature on me. They were looking to connect with Minnesota influencers and help tell their stories. They asked about how I got started, my challenges and my “why” of getting involved with the influencer life. Check out the interview here. This was actually my second interview with VoyageMinnesota. You can check out my first interview here.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teele Schneider.

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
I’m a 30-something marketing gal living in St. Paul, Minnesota, living the DINK (dual income, no kids) life with my two kitties and husband. I started as a home decor influencer in 2016 before realizing there was so much more about my life I wanted to share. I now share the positives of the child-free lifestyle, travel, and home decor on my Instagram and blog.

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Mostly smooth – I’ve gone through a lot of transitions. I used to share home photos five days a week. It was a lot. And then Instagram changed drastically. Videos and selling became my #1 priority, and I needed more time to dive head-first into influencing. I love sharing home decor inspiration, travel ideas, and general lifestyle information about being a DINK. It took me a while to feel like I had a space within Instagram, but now I feel like I’m true to myself.

I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a full-time Marketing Manager and a part-time Instagram influencer. I specialize in sharing the positives of being a DINK (dual income, no kids) and the generally fun things we do around Minnesota (and travel outside Minnesota). I started as a home decor influencer, so I’m probably most known for my home decor inspo, but I’ve tried to branch out and share more of my general life. What sets me apart is that there isn’t a ton of content out there about DINKs. On Instagram, you will find many mommy blogs and mom content. We (DINKs) are super underrepresented on Instagram. There are some fantastic childfree content creators, but I differentiate myself by sharing general life/positives about childfree life.
